Halloween Costume Drive : Bringing Magic to Every Child This Season!

Halloween Costume Drive : Bringing Magic to Every Child This Season!

As the leaves turn crisp and the air fills with a chill, Halloween excitement is bubbling over in our community. This year, we at Youthnet are thrilled to announce our first-ever Halloween Costume Drive, ensuring that every child gets to experience the joy of dressing up and diving into the enchanting spirit of the season!

Why a Costume Drive?

Halloween is more than just candy and trick-or-treating—it's a celebration of creativity, imagination, and the magic of childhood. But for many foster youth and families, providing a costume can be a financial strain. At Youthnet, we believe every child deserves the chance to transform into their favorite superhero, spooky monster, or whimsical fairy without worry.

How You Can Help

We’re asking for donations of new or gently used costumes for of all ages, sizing from babies to adult. Whether it’s a classic witch hat, superhero cape, or a full costume, your contribution will make a child’s Halloween unforgettable.

Here’s how you can participate:

  • Drop-Off Locations: We have set up multiple drop-off points around Skagit County for your convenience. See below for our full list of drop-off points and check back regularly as we continue to add more!
  • Online Donations: No costume? No problem! You can also donate directly through our website, and we’ll handle the rest. A $20 donation can provide a brand-new costume to a child in need.

Key Dates to Remember:

  • Costume Drive Kick-Off: October 1st
  • Last Day to Donate: October 18th

Our staff will distribute the costumes in time for Halloween, so every child can feel confident and excited on October 31st!

Spread the Word!

We encourage our community to share this initiative with friends, family, and coworkers. Together, we can make sure no child is left out of the Halloween fun.
