At Youthnet, we believe in the power of community to uplift and support the children, youth, and families we serve. This Thanksgiving, we are especially grateful for the generosity of Dwayne Lane's Skagit Subaru, whose kindness has brought joy and comfort to Youthnet homes this holiday season.
On Friday, November 22nd, thanks to the incredible support of Dwayne Lane's Skagit Subaru, we delivered complete Thanksgiving dinners—including turkeys and all the fixings—to 40 foster families in Northwest Washington. Each carefully prepared meal package ensured that families could gather around their tables to celebrate the holiday, share gratitude, and enjoy a delicious feast together.
For foster families, the holidays can be a time of unique challenges, but also of profound connection. Providing these meals is more than just meeting a need; it’s about creating a space where love and belonging can flourish, even during difficult times.
Dwayne Lane's donation exemplifies the true spirit of giving. By stepping up and supporting Youthnet’s mission, they have shown a deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and families in Northwest Washington. Their contribution helps strengthen our foster families, ensuring they feel seen, appreciated, and supported by their community.
From everyone at Youthnet and the families we serve: thank you, Dwayne Lane's Skagit Subaru, for your generosity and compassion. Your partnership helps us fulfill our mission to empower and uplift foster families throughout the Pacific Northwest.
This Thanksgiving, we are reminded once again of the importance of working together to create brighter futures for the youth in our care. When communities come together with a shared purpose, the impact is immeasurable.
Here’s to a season filled with gratitude, love, and hope.
